Accessibility statement.
We are committed to making this site usable for everyone. Our goal is to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA standard and to keep refining the experience for every visitor, on every device.
Our commitment
Perfect White Smile believes that exceptional care should feel welcoming to all, including the experience of finding us online. We are committed to ensuring this website is accessible to people of all abilities, and we work to align it with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.
Measures we take
Accessibility is considered throughout how this site is designed and built. The steps below reflect the ongoing practices behind every page.
- Semantic HTML. Pages use clear landmarks, a single main heading, and a logical heading order so the structure is easy to follow with assistive technology.
- Keyboard navigation. Interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and a skip to content link lets you move past the navigation quickly.
- Visible focus. Links, buttons, and form controls show a clear focus state so you always know where you are on the page.
- Color contrast. Text and essential interface elements are chosen to maintain readable contrast against their backgrounds.
- Descriptive alternative text. Meaningful images carry text descriptions, and decorative images are marked so screen readers can pass over them.
- Labelled forms. Form fields have visible, associated labels and clear instructions, including on our consultation request.
- Accessibility tools widget. A small toolkit in the corner of the screen lets you adjust aspects of the display, such as text size and contrast, to suit how you read.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is not a single milestone. We review the site as we add and update content, and we treat any barrier as something to fix. As standards and tools evolve, we continue to learn and improve so the experience keeps getting better for everyone.
Please note that the on page accessibility widget is a helpful supplement. It does not replace an accessible site, and our priority remains building accessibility into the underlying pages themselves.
